Juno is an app concept developed as part of a master’s thesis project. It is designed to help young adults navigate the daily challenges of the 21st century. It features a social-like platform where users can learn and share their knowledge on daily life matters and tasks.

Challenges
Accuracy and Reliability: Ensuring the app delivers precise, up-to-date information in real time, while avoiding the risk of overwhelming users with irrelevant data often found in Reddit-like formats.
User Experience: Designing an intuitive and visually appealing interface that engages our young users in an active way.
Advanced Features: Integrating features such as a skills library, personalized playlists, life advice, community confessions, and AI-powered fast responses.
Personalization and Gamification: offering a sense of "task-completed" which cheers and motivates the user to continue forward in their learning journey.
My Approach
Discovery Phase
Defining the problem: There comes a time to grow up and abandon life's safety nets. This affects the well-being and mental health of many young adults, who feel they must successfully face all the challenges of adult life. At the same time, they are expected to meet family, professional, economic, and personal standards before a predetermined deadline.
Defining the target audience: Young adults aged 19 to 30, living independently or in the process of doing so. They may be students, recent graduates, early-career workers, or individuals in search of employment.
Market Research: Analyzed competitor apps, sites and current trends in education and personal development to identify key features and design elements that would set Juno apart.
Design and Development
UI/UX Design: Created an unconventional, fun and visually engaging interface with easy navigation, making Juno a unique and satisfying app to use.
Art Direction: Went for a nostalgic grungy and y2k in all UI elements. This chaotic and unhinged energy is destined to make the user welcome in a judgement-free environment.
Prototype and UI Kit Development: Built a robust high-fi prototype backened with a solid design system library.
Testing and Iteration
User Testing: Conducted usability testing and gathered feedback from professionals and other colleagues in order to refine the app's design and functionality.
Performance Optimization: Ensured the prototype loads quickly, performs smoothly, and provides and accurate experience.
Results
The Protoype was completed to meet the requirements of the project. It includes a proper integration of unique features, all meant to offer the user an innovative experience. Nevertheless, it lacks a real world testing with real users.
Future Plans
Continuous Improvement: Plan regular updates and enhancements to introduce new features and improve user experience based on feedback and evolving trends.
Expansion: Explore partnerships with back-end professionals and developers to bring the mvp up to a market level.
Conclusion
By combining strategic planning, design thinking, and innovative development, I delivered a prototype meant to succeed in a real-life scenario. This project highlights an ability to create impactful digital solutions that improve the lives of young adults and drive engagement in the competitive app market.
